Delta Medical Centre started its operation as a private hospital in May 2000.
It is a direct result of the foresight and initiative of Dr. Patrick Akhiwu and some Batswana friends who shared the same vision of complementing the healthcare facilities in the country.
It is located in Maun which is Botswana’s tourist capital by virtue of its being the gateway to the great Okavango Inland Delta.
The facility has a capacity of twenty one (21) hospital beds. It also includes private rooms as well as high care facilities. All the rooms have Digital Satellite Television, air conditioning, telephones and en-suit bathrooms.
The hospital currently boasts of a staff compliment of seventy (70).
